Kim Ho-joon, left-hander of the Doosan Bears in the Korean pro baseball league, started pitching consecutively for four consecutive days. Doosan lost to LG 0-4 at a game held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on Wednesday. It lost ground in the starting lineup. Doosan's fifth starter Kim Yu-seong confronted LG's first starter Chirinos.

Before the game, Kim Yoo-sung was sluggish this year with one loss and an earned run average of 12.79 in three games. In the game against Lotte on the 6th, he allowed three hits, three walks and five runs in one ⅓ inning, and was substituted early. Kim Yoo-sung struggled in the first inning alone, throwing 30 pitches, and gave up two walks, but there were no runs. 

In the second and third innings, however, he was hit with a timely hit by Oh Ji-hwan with one out and runners on the first and second bases in the fourth inning. Cave, who caught Moon Sung-joo's right-handed hit as a bound, tagged out the second baseman with an accurate home pitch. Kim Yu-seong was replaced when Park Dong-won was loaded with two outs by sending out a pitch. Kim Yu-seong allowed three hits, three walks, and two runs with three outs in three ⅔ innings, while reliever Lee Young-ha allowed a walk.  

Lee Young-ha came up as the second pitcher and allowed a walk. Later, Lee Byung-hun and Park Chi-guk took the mound in the sixth inning, and Park Jung-soo in the eighth inning. When Moon Bo-kyung walked after one out in the eighth inning, the Doosan bench replaced Park Jung-soo and put left-hander Kim Ho-joon on the mound.

Kim Ho-joon, however, took the mound for four consecutive days. He started pitching in four consecutive games against Hanwha on May 9. He did not pitch much earlier. He threw seven to 26 to 11 pitches in three games, respectively. He will lead the game between left-handed pitchers and left-handed hitters, which will lead to left-handed hitters Oh Ji-hwan and Moon Sung-joo. However, he will throw balls in the bullpen before taking the mound, and even if he throws fewer pitches, he will likely increase the burden of playing in consecutive games. 

In his fourth consecutive game, Kim Ho-joon was hit by Oh Ji-hwan for a double, putting him on the verge of hitting the second and third bases with one out. Doosan Infield defended forward, and Moon Sung-joo's hit became a timely two-run hit that missed the second base. The score went to 0-4. Kim Ho-joon failed to score an out count and was replaced by the final player.

Kim Ho-joon took the mound in a crisis with one out and runners on the second and third bases, trailing 4-5 against Hanwha on the 9th, and blocked the run of successors with two infield grounders. In the match against Hanwha on the 10th, he took the mound in the sixth inning with two outs and a runner on the first base, and was replaced in the seventh inning with one out. He allowed runners to score, which was left by relievers. 

In the game against LG Electronics on Monday, he was replaced after a double by Kim Hyun-soo after one out in the eighth inning when his team was losing 2-4. Reliever Park Jung-soo allowed one run after being hit by a double by Austin. At Tuesday's game, he failed to score any out count. He lost points in three consecutive games, and posted an ERA of 10.80 (six earned runs in five innings) in 10 games with one loss and one hold. 

After failing to get a professional designation after graduating from high school, Kim continued his career in the independent league and joined Doosan as a nurturing player in 2018. He made his debut in the first division in 2023. He allowed four runs in three games and three innings in 2023. He also recorded his first win in 16 games (13 ⅓ innings) last year, with one win and two losses and an earned run average of 8.78. He was included in the opening entry this season and is playing as a left-handed specialist. 

Doosan put in six bullpen pitchers on the day. Kim Ho-joon pitched four consecutive games. Lee Young-ha, Lee Byung-hun and Park Jung-soo pitched in three games in four days.
